Custom Control Sensors, LLC is seeking a Quality Inspector for its Phoenix, AZ facility. The role focuses on inspecting machined parts to ensure conformance with drawings and specifications, including incoming materials and in-process assemblies.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in aerospace/medical/auto manufacturing inspection, strong GD&T knowledge, and proficiency with calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, and CMM tools. The position emphasizes teamwork and precise documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years hands-on inspection of precision machined parts in aerospace, medical, or automotive environments.
• US Person status under ITAR and verification prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• 80% of work: Mechanical inspection of parts from Machine Shop.
• Conduct AQL inspections to exacting tolerances on castings, forgings, and machined parts.
• Inspect machined parts for material, workmanship and conformance to drawings.
• Read engineering drawings and perform calculations as needed.
• Use calipers, micrometers, indicators, height gauges, dial bore gauges and optical tools.
• Record data on production documents and maintain inspection reports.
• Perform first article inspections at the machine or assembly and render accept/reject decisions.
• Receive inspection of incoming raw materials and services for conformance.
