Job summary

Nammo Defense Systems, Inc Career Center is seeking a Quality Technician to perform in-process and final inspections of manufactured assemblies. You will inspect with gauges, calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators, while ensuring documentation, MIL-STD-1916 sampling, and conformity.

The role requires reading blueprints, problem solving with the Quality Engineering team, and a strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma / GED and 2-5 years of inspection experience is required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to input, retrieve, access, and send information via computer.
• Experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, data, and manuals to determine inspection procedures.
• Review documentation including MIL-STD-1916 sampling size, FAI, certificates of analysis.
• Inspect product and verify conformance using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and comparators.
• Perform First Article inspections as required.
• Keep inspection documentation accurate and up-to-date.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineering to solve problems and improve processes.
