Job summary

Simmons Foods, Inc. is hiring a QC Line Inspector to audit production and packaging for customer specifications. You will monitor weights, check color/odor/texture, verify seal integrity, and ensure product codes and fill temperatures meet standards. You will document findings and support team improvement efforts.

Experience in manufacturing with GMP knowledge is preferred. The role requires attention to detail, ability to work with the QC computer, and adherence to safety PPE policies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Experienced in manufacturing/process environments with knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Background in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product weights and record results.
• Check color, odor and texture for compliance.
• Check seal integrity and perform burst testing.
• Check product code, fill temperature and quality.
• Complete tear downs for seamer heads on running equipment.
• Notify supervisor of out-of-spec results and document findings.
• Enter data into the Quality control computer at the QC station.
• Collaborate with team, participate in continuous improvement and policy implementation.
