Job summary

The role requires attention to detail, ability to read drawings, and willingness to cross-train in all inspection areas. The position is based at Thorlabs locations with available PPE and safety training.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a similar position preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and interpret dimensional tolerances.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspection of precision parts using metrology devices.
• Identify non-conformances through specified inspection methods.
• Operate under microscopes for detailed inspections of intricate parts.
• Maintain proper records in the Manufacturing Database.
