Job summary

The Quality Control Inspector role is on-site in Chattanooga, focusing on dimensional and visual inspections with CMMs to ensure nuclear, DoE, DoD, and AS9100/ISO9001 compliance. Emphasis on precision, reliability, and teamwork on customer projects.

Qualifications

• GD&T understanding required for measurement and interpretation.
• 2+ years of quality control inspection experience with CMMs or Faro Arm.
• Experience with nuclear QA codes and ASME/ANSI standards preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible hours to meet emergent customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections across production cycles.
• Program and operate Zeiss CMM, Keyence CMM, or Faro Arm for complex verifications.
• Conduct receipt and in-process inspections and verify certifications.
• Interface with customers and production to communicate results and requirements.
• Maintain quality procedures and support continuous improvement.
