Job summary

Selectek in Canton, GA is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform precision dimensional inspections of composite parts and machined components using metrology equipment such as FARO arms, laser trackers, and Creaform systems. This on-site, full-time role requires meticulous attention to detail and strong GD&T knowledge.

You will program and operate CMMs, verify parts against CAD drawings, generate inspection reports, and support QMS improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality control or inspection with programming and operating CMM/metrology equipment
• Strong understanding of CAD models, engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T
• Experience verifying parts against CAD models and engineering requirements
• Familiarity with metrology systems (FARO arms, laser trackers, Creaform) and PolyWorks software

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspections of in-process and finished products
• Program and operate CMM and other metrology equipment
• Verify parts against CAD models and GD&T requirements
• Create detailed inspection reports documenting results and deviations
• Support quality system improvements and internal audits
