Job summary

Master Machine in Chattanooga, TN, is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to perform dimensional and visual inspections throughout production using calipers, micrometers, and CMMs. You will verify conformance to drawings, GD&T, and customer requirements on nuclear, DoE, DoD, and AS9100/ISO 9001 projects.

Qualifications

Thorough understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Minimum 2 years of quality control inspection using Faro Arm CMM and/or Keyence Optical CMM.
Knowledge and experience with NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, ANSI N45.2, ASME BPVC III/VIII.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Flexible hours to meet emergent customer needs.

Responsibilities

Perform dimensional inspections with calipers, micrometers, and CMMs to ensure drawings and GD&T conformance.
Interpret drawings and GD&T; document results with traceability.
Program and operate Zeiss CMM (Calypso), Keyence Optical CMM, and/or Faro arm as needed.
Verify incoming materials and in-process verification to meet quality requirements.
Interface with customers and production teams on inspection results.
