Job summary

Composite Factory is seeking a Quality Control Inspector II specializing in metrology and GD&T to ensure parts meet customer and engineering standards. You will perform dimensional inspections of carbon fiber components, document results, and support NCR processes.

The role requires at least four years in a similar QC role, familiarity with calipers, micrometers, Romer arms, and standard metrology equipment, and a solid understanding of blueprints and GD&T. On-site, with shift options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of four years of industry experience in a similar QC role.
• Ability to contribute to formal problem-solving activities.
• Thorough knowledge of composite materials related manufacturing equipment and processes is a plus.
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident in compliance with ITAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical/dimensional inspection of carbon fiber components.
• Inspect parts using PCMM and other metrology equipment; keep detailed records.
• Document nonconformances via NCR process and support disposition.
• Develop knowledge of ERP system and process incoming RMAs.
• Communicate issues to Quality Control Lead, Supervisor or Manager.
• Work efficiently to meet production schedule targets.
• Adhere to health, safety, and workplace policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
