Job summary

Vergent Products in Loveland, CO, is hiring a full-time Quality Control Inspector to inspect simple to complex PCBAs. You will work independently, following established procedures to produce flawless products and maintain a 0.021% defect rate.

Test, inspect, and troubleshoot electronics and electro-mechanical assemblies to assure defect-free delivery to customers. Responsibilities include reading instructions, operating complex equipment, and collaborating with a team to identify improvements in

Qualifications

• IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610, or IPC-A-620 certification preferred
• Experience with complex machine assembly
• Experience with cable and wire soldering
• Basic understanding of flow lines
• Ability to read and follow documentation with accuracy
• Ability to work well on a team
• Proactive attitude to take on additional tasks such as organizing, cleaning, machine maintenance or light janitorial work as needed

Responsibilities

• Safely assemble, test, and inspect electronic and electro-mechanical products from written instructions.
• Ensure a defective-free product to the client by assuring no workmanship or material defects are passed downstream.
• Ensure on-time delivery of product by managing your time efficiently.
• Execute personal training plans to maximize performance on assigned work.
• Complete work according to relevant standards and work instructions.
• Make recommendations to improve quality, increase productivity, manufacturability, or reduce cost.
• Operate complex machines and/or automated tools when needed.
