Job summary

Kobeal is seeking a QA Technician in Bowling Green, KY to finalize product quality after forging and EP processes. You will record inspection results, manage quality documentation, and support engineering with feedback and root-cause analysis on the floor.

The role requires familiarity with metrology tools, data recording, and adherence to SOPs, with training on QAD systems and safety procedures. This is a non-exempt, on-site position with potential cross-functional interaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in automotive sector preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive components and terminology is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Finalize product inspection after production in forging and EP areas.
• Record and verify inspection data (First Piece Sheets, Trend Charts, Shift Reports, etc.).
• Provide feedback to management and engineering on inspection results.
• Operate and learn QAD Systems to locate, transfer, label, and store parts.
• Perform hardness testing and Etch Rate testing as required.
• Maintain safety and PPE compliance and organize parts for 3rd party sorting.
