Job summary

Trystar is seeking a Punch Press Operator for its Fabrication Department to produce precision components from sheet metal or fiber board. You will operate punch press machines in accordance with engineering drawings and SOPs, reading tape measures to 1/16 inch and entering data into Epicor.

The role requires 2 years in manufacturing, a HS diploma or technical training, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Candidates must pass a pre-employment physical and drug test and comply with PPE

Qualifications

• Must read, write and comprehend plant directives in English.
• Able to perform simple math to interpret process sheets and tally scrap.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate punch press machines to produce precision components.
• Read and understand job orders; interact with Epicor for data entry.
• Follow SOPs to operate equipment and manufacture products per specs.
• Read tape measures to 1/16 inch.
• Enter required paperwork into Epicor; daily production reports and scrap logs.
• Maintain and operate hand tools for setup and operation.
• Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.
