Trystar is seeking a skilled Punch Press Operator for its Faribault, MN facility. You will operate press brake machines to bend sheet metal per engineering drawings, set up tooling, and ensure quality while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities include machine setup, material handling, bending operations, quality checks, and documenting production data in Epicor. Candidate should have 2+ years in machining, read drawings, lift up to 50 lbs, and pass pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in machine operation in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; pass pre-employment physical and drug test.

Responsabilités

• Machine Setup: set up and calibrate the press brake with tooling and dies.
• Material Handling: position sheet metal on the bed for bending.
• Bending Operations: operate the brake to form components per drawings.
• Quality Control: inspect bent parts with calipers and gauges for accuracy.
• Tool Maintenance: maintain and replace tooling as needed.
• Troubleshooting: resolve minor machine and material issues during bending.
• Safety Compliance: follow safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Documentation: record production data and reports in Epicor, including process notes.
• Collaboration: work with supervisors, engineers, and QC staff to maintain flow and targets.
