Job summary

Kelly Services seeks a reliable Punch Operator for our Manufacturing team. You will operate a computer-controlled punch to produce blanks for processes and finished flat parts, following production paperwork and required specifications.

This role requires careful attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment. You will read blueprints, measure parts with calipers and micrometers, and participate in continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or machine operation preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and improvement initiatives.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Operate punch machinery according to production paperwork and requirements.
• Check parts using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges for accuracy.
• Load programs into machine controls and run correct parts/quantities.
• Measure parts to ensure conformity to print specifications.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized workspace per 6S standards.
• Complete production paperwork and quality records.
• Read and interpret blueprints to identify characteristics.
• Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
