Flowserve is seeking a skilled 2nd shift Assembly Technician in Maryland to perform hydrostatic testing, precision pump assembly, and disassembly per BOM and drawings. You will read blueprints in English and metric units, use hand and power tools, and operate forklifts and cranes as needed.

The role requires a High School diploma, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a willingness to work overtime in a CIP environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read instructions and drawings.
• 2+ years general mechanics experience preferred.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and perform overtime as required.
• Strong work ethic and adherence to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydrostatic testing on components to ensure quality standards.
• Assemble/disassemble pumps per BOM and drawings.
• Read drawings and interpret English/metric units.
• Fit parts and install piping per drawings.
• Utilize hand, power, and air tools; operate grinders as needed.
• Follow procedures and inspections; maintain workmanship standards.
• Move materials with forklifts and cranes; learn additional duties.
