Job summary

Rocketdyne is seeking a Manufacturing Technician D in Redmond, WA, for a first-shift role (4/10 schedule). Responsibilities include precision mechanical assembly and testing of rocket engine components, with work conducted in a laminar flow environment.

The position requires strong reading of drawings and specs, and familiarity with ERP manufacturing modules. OTA considerations may apply; multiple duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
• Experience with precision mechanical assembly and testing in a restricted environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical assembly and test of engines or components; small precision assembly.
• Handle precision clean parts within a laminar flow environment.
• Perform diversified, semi-repetitive operations following standardized methods.
• Coordinate with maintenance/engineers for setup and calibration of equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical assemblies and tooling; participate in pressure testing.
