Job summary

You will work with a small team to calibrate sensors, configure software, troubleshoot measurement systems, and document events. The job requires safety awareness and no regular travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of relevant experience or an Associate Degree in instrumentation, electronics, or control and data acquisition with 1+ year of related experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and work with computers, controllers, and software.
• Experience around hazardous materials and environments; respirator certification.
• U.S. Citizenship/Resident status and eligibility for security clearance.
• Manual dexterity and fine hand work; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and comply with written work instructions.
• Select sensors and electronic equipment to meet work instruction requirements.
• Configure software menus for calibration scale factors and sampling settings.
• Use sensors (pressure, flow, temperature) to troubleshoot data measurement systems.
• Light electronics repair including stripping, soldering, crimping, and connector work.
• Calibrate sensors such as pressure transducers.
• Perform rocket engine hot-fire tests per specifications and requirements.
• Travel is not a regular part of the job.
