Job summary
The Kinetic Group in Lonoke, AR is seeking a Project Mechanic to maintain, repair, modify, and rebuild precision tooling and production equipment used across our manufacturing operations. Ideal candidates have extensive experience with close-tolerance machining, equipment overhauls, and custom fabrication, with preference for those who have rebuilt cold heading or stamping presses.
Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Special Projects, you will diagnose issues, read blueprints, perform precision
Qualifications
- Extensive experience rebuilding and maintaining complex manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints, CAD/CAM drawings, and technical manuals.
- Experience with close-tolerance machining and precision measurements.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, rebuild and maintain production equipment.
- Operate machine shop equipment including lathes, mills and grinders.
- Fabricate parts, tooling, fixtures to support production needs.
- Perform welding, brazing, grinding, fitting and assembly as required.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and safety compliance.
