Job summary

Priority StaffCorp is seeking an experienced Manual Machinist in Tulsa, OK to join a precision manufacturing team. You will operate conventional mills and engine lathes, read engineering drawings, set up machines, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances.

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on manual machining experience.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.
Understanding of cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and material properties.

Responsibilities

Operate conventional mills and engine lathes to produce precision parts.
Set up machines and select appropriate tooling for each job.
Work from engineering drawings, blueprints, job travelers, and work instructions.
Take accurate measurements throughout the machining process.
Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision inspection equipment.
Determine appropriate speeds, feeds, and cutting methods based on material and application.
Monitor machining operations and troubleshoot equipment or process issues.
Make necessary adjustments to achieve required dimensions and tolerances.
Inspect completed components to verify quality and accuracy.
Maintain machines, tools, and a clean, organized work area.
Follow all safety and quality procedures.
