Job summary
Remington Ammunition is seeking a Project Mechanic in Lonoke, Arkansas to maintain and rebuild precision tooling and production equipment. The role requires extensive experience with close-tolerance machining, tooling fabrication, and safe operation of machine tools to support manufacturing operations.
The ideal candidate will read engineering drawings and CAD/CAM prints, perform precision measurements, and reliably document work while maintaining a strong safety culture at the site.
Qualifications
- Experience with close-tolerance machining and precision measurements.
- Ability to read complex blueprints and CAD/CAM drawings.
- Proven track record in repairs and rebuilds of production equipment.
- Experience with tooling, dies, and fabricating replacement parts.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain manufacturing equipment.
- Operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, drill presses, and related tooling.
- Fabricate parts, tooling, fixtures, and components for production needs.
- Perform welding, brazing, grinding, and assembly per specs.
- Disassemble and reassemble machines to tight tolerances.
- Read blueprints and CAD/CAM prints; ensure precise tolerances (0.0002 in).
- Document work, maintain maintenance records, and ensure safety.
