Job summary

ABTech Inc. is seeking a Production Planner / Scheduler to develop, maintain, and optimize the master production schedule for high-precision manufacturing.

The role coordinates with Operations, Engineering, Production Control, and shop-floor personnel to translate orders into executable plans. The ideal candidate will balance customer commitments with capacity constraints, maintain ERP data integrity, and drive improvements in scheduling accuracy and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning, manufacturing scheduling, or a related manufacturing operations role.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, production workflows, and resource planning.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems for manufacturing planning, scheduling, or production management.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other production planning tools.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, anticipate challenges, and communicate effectively across departments.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
• A proactive, team-oriented approach with a commitment to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the master production schedule based on customer orders, forecasts, production capacity, and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate manufacturing priorities and production sequencing across machining, grinding, assembly, testing, and final inspection.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to reflect changing customer requirements, operational conditions, and resource availability.
• Support consistent, reliable on-time delivery through effective planning and communication.
• Maintain accurate production schedules, planning dates, work-center loads, lead times, and manufacturing priorities within the ERP system.
