Job summary

Acutec-Precision-Aerospace, Inc. in Meadville, PA, seeks a Scheduling Planner to drive on-time delivery, optimize capacity, and support revenue targets through strategic scheduling.

You will analyze constrained versus unconstrained capacity, maintain ERP/MRP data, and collaborate with Production, Planning, and Program Management to resolve scheduling conflicts. This position requires four years of production scheduling experience in machining and strong Excel skills, with familiarity of ERP

Qualifications

• Four years’ minimum experience in production scheduling and/or capacity planning in machining.
• Ability to read blueprints, routings, and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor flow of low mix, high volume production jobs and bottlenecks.
• Support the SIOP process, aligning demand forecasts with available production capacity.
• Analyze constrained versus unconstrained capacity scenarios to identify bottlenecks and optimize outcomes.
• Build and maintain capacity planning models incorporating machine hours, labor availability, and tooling constraints.
• Collaborate with Production, Planning, and Program Management to prioritize jobs and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Maintain accurate data in the ERP/MRP system including routings, standard times, and work center capacities.
• Track schedule adherence and analyze root causes of schedule slippage, driving corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline scheduling, planning, and capacity analysis processes.
• Schedule and manage expedite requests in coordination with the sales team.
• Monitor ESB and work with Plant managers to maximize scheduling outcomes with setup time reduction.
• Establish AR target and monitor monthly progress to ensure it is met.
