Job summary

IFS Industries is looking for a Production Operator to safely run manufacturing batches on the 2nd shift (1:45 P.M. - 10:15 P.M.). You will operate equipment, monitor product quality, and support efficient production following formulas and SOPs.

You will weigh materials, load raw products, log batch details, perform quality checks, and keep the work area organized per 5S standards. The role requires safety focus, teamwork, and the ability to work 8-hour shifts in a hot, dusty plant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 2+ years manufacturing/production experience preferred
• Ability to read and follow SOPs and work orders

Responsibilities

• Cross-trained to perform multiple manufacturing functions
• Operate production machinery and equipment according to SOPs
• Monitor production lines for efficiency and quality
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic troubleshooting
• Follow safety, environmental and quality regulations
• Read work orders and formulas to determine materials and procedures
• Weigh materials and load into vats or mixing pots
• Log batch data including weight, product type, date and batch number
• Maintain 5S/work area cleanliness
• Assist with machine changeovers and setup activities
