Job summary

QXO is seeking a Production Associate to support manufacturing and production operations by cutting, assembling, and handling materials in a fast-paced environment. This hands-on role requires attention to detail, the ability to interpret work orders and blueprints, and a commitment to safe, efficient production.

The position involves operating cutting equipment, measuring materials, inspecting finished products, and assisting with material movement and inventory documentation.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Comfort working with hand tools and production equipment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, construction, or a related field.
• Experience operating saws, cutting equipment, or fabrication machinery.
• Familiarity with blueprints or technical drawings.
• Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and tools to cut, shape, and prepare materials according to specifications.
• Read and interpret work orders, measurements, and basic drawings to ensure accuracy.
• Measure, cut, and verify materials using tape measures and other tools.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials throughout the production area.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to production and inventory.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and safe, including end-of-day cleanup.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
• Support team members to meet daily production goals.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
