Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. in Indiana is seeking a production technician to support cell operations by operating glass bead blaster, ultrasonic tanks, laser welder, and other equipment to produce parts that meet quality and ISO standards.

You will assemble parts, finish and clean as required, and perform visual inspections against blueprints using calipers and micrometers while documenting results. This hourly role requires basic blueprint reading, attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a glass bead blaster machine.
• Operate ultrasonic cleaning tanks.
• Operate Laser Welder.
• Operate Laser Marker and Electro-Chemical Etcher.
• Operate Passivation line.
• Operate Morgan Press.
• Operate cryogenic deburr machine.
• Operate water jet cutter machine.
• Assemble product.
• May finish/polish/buff product to specifications.
• Clean product.
• Operate saw cut and dovetail machines.
• Operate mass finish machine.
• Inspect product to blueprint specifications.
• Perform visual inspections for burrs.
• May operate CMM.
• Perform deburring operation of parts, as required.
• Complete paperwork, as required.
