Job summary

AMETEK is seeking a Production Associate in New Bedford, MA to work with small parts and perform a variety of simple to moderate assembly operations, following prescribed methods and processes.

You will read flowsheet folders, blueprint specifications and process sheets, use a range of hand tools including tweezers, magnets, mallets and tape machines, and operate a lead-cutting machine as required, while maintaining a clean, safe work area and reporting any anomalies to supervision.

Qualifications

• Performs short cycle, highly repetitive hand assembly as specified.
• Reads flowsheets, blueprints, and process sheets.
• Uses various hand tools and adheres to contamination controls.
• Maintains quality standards and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform short cycle, highly repetitive hand assembly.
• Move materials as required and report issues to supervision.
• Maintain records and keep work area clean and organized.
• Work overtime as needed with notice.
