Job summary

Thread-Craft is seeking a Process Engineer to convert customer requirements and engineering drawings into repeatable, efficient manufacturing processes. You will collaborate with engineering, production, quality, sales, and leadership to ensure precision components are manufactured accurately and efficiently.

You will develop routings for milling, turning, grinding, and related operations, create and maintain ERP records, and produce clear process documentation to enable consistent production

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience in machining or precision manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret customer prints, drawings, tolerances and notes.
• 3D modeling and 2D CAD drafting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Review customer prints and drawings to determine manufacturability and release to production.
• Develop processes and routings defining production, inspection, and material flow.
• Create and maintain part numbers, routings, and ERP data.
• Provide technical support to engineering, production, quality, and leadership on new and existing jobs.
• Work with machinists, programmers, and supervisors to resolve manufacturing challenges.
