Job summary

TekniPlex Pleasanton, CA is seeking a highly detailed Process Engineer/Estimator to manage quote flow and lead cross-functional teams across various precision manufacturing departments. You will develop processes, troubleshoot, and help with jig/fixture design for diverse assemblies.

The role requires extensive experience in quotation, production support, and metrology, with CAD/CAM tooling skills and strong knowledge of GD&T and quality systems.

Qualifications

• B.S. in engineering/manufacturing; strong applicable experience
• Experience with ISO 9000/AS9100/ISO13485 preferred
• 7–10 years ERP/MRP in precision contract manufacturing
• SolidWorks modeling and drafting expertise preferred
• Experience with high-volume sheet metal and wire forming; toolmaking desired
• Experience quoting IQ/OQ/PQ, V&V, PPAP, GR&R, CPAP

Responsibilities

• Quote flow management across customer service, purchasing, production control, QC/QA, and shipping/receiving
• Prepare quotes and assist with day-to-day production support and process development
• Design jigs and fixtures; assist with assembly
• Develop SOPs and illustrated work instructions; apply basic SPC/Lean concepts
• Collaborate with suppliers and customers to reduce costs and lead times
