Job summary

PrecisionX Group seeks a hands-on Industrial/Process Engineer to develop, optimize, and sustain efficient manufacturing processes for precision metal stamping and related operations. This position will focus on improving safety, quality, productivity, equipment utilization, material flow, labor efficiency, and manufacturing costs.

The Industrial/Process Engineer will work closely with Production, Quality, Tooling, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Management to identify operational challenges,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Training in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, quality systems, or project management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes for precision metal stamping, assembly, inspection, packaging, and secondary operations.
• Establish process sequences, production routings, work-center requirements, standard cycle times, and labor requirements.
• Develop and update process flow diagrams, work instructions, setup procedures, standard operating procedures, and visual manufacturing aids.
• Evaluate process capability and recommend adjustments to equipment, tooling, materials, inspection methods, and operating parameters.
• Ensure that manufacturing processes are repeatable, measurable, properly documented, and capable of meeting quality and delivery requirements.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators to track operational performance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Tooling, Quality, and Production to develop manufacturing plans for new parts.
• Assist with equipment selection, tooling trials, sample production, process qualification, and production readiness.
