Job summary

sg360 in Wheeling, IL seeks an experienced Project Manager to connect customers, sales, and manufacturing. You’ll ensure orders are reviewed, produced, mailed, and billed accurately and on time in a fast-paced print environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating production schedules, maintaining files, and communicating status and issues proactively to deliver high-quality results for leading brands.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in the printing industry (customer service or project management)
• Strong understanding of pre-press operations and various printing processes
• Knowledge of inline and post-press lettershop finishing
• Familiarity with USPS specifications is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• ERP system experience preferred
• College degree in Business or Graphic Arts Management preferred

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between customers, sales, and production teams
• Review orders against estimates to ensure accuracy
• Create and maintain complete job files and production documentation
• Coordinate materials, templates, samples, and proofs
• Develop clear work instructions for pre-press, press, and post-press teams
• Monitor production schedules to ensure on-time press starts and delivery
• Communicate job status, changes, and potential issues proactively
• Manage change notices and ensure documentation accuracy for billing
• Oversee post-production activities including shipping and mailing
• Ensure completed job files are properly documented and submitted for invoicing
