Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie, a leader in engineered structural connectors, is seeking a Press Operator in Columbus, OH. You will operate an automatic stamping press, ensure quality and safety, and support LEAN goals in a first-shift schedule.

The role requires ability to read blueprints, use precision tools, and maintain a clean 6S environment; 40 lb lifts and working near heavy machinery are routine. Relocation not offered. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year related experience and/or training preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic stamping presses and assist with set-ups and changeovers.
• Communicate with leadership about issues and improvements; assist others as needed.
• Perform quality inspections to blueprints/specifications using precision tools and maintain 6S standards.
