Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking a Press Operator for a manufacturing client on the production floor. You will operate press equipment, set up jobs, and perform inspections to ensure parts meet specifications on the 1st shift.

Qualifications

• Previous press operator experience is required.
• Experience operating Bystronic equipment is highly preferred.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Understanding of quality inspection processes and production documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate press equipment safely and efficiently to meet production goals.
• Set up and run production jobs according to work instructions and specifications.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections to confirm parts meet requirements.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions.
• Interpret and respond to SPC data and control charts, and report quality, production, or equipment issues.
