Job summary

You will read drawings, set up tooling, manage materials, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure quality throughout production. Excellent measuring skills and strict safety adherence are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience operating a press brake (automatic or manual).
• Ability to use measuring tools (square, tape measure, caliper, protractor).
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication).
• Understand and follow safety policies and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate a press brake to manufacture parts and other components from sheet metal.
• Prepare press tooling, download programs to machine control, and adjust the press brake to meet production schedules.
• Ensure sufficient raw materials are available. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance of the machine and workspace.
• Interpret technical drawings and work orders. Understand tooling requirements (punch and die).
• Monitor production quality and quantities; inspect products to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
