Job summary

Staffmark is seeking a Press Brake Operator in North Little Rock, AR. You will set up and operate manual press brake equipment to bend and form sheet metal and steel components used in heavy vehicle production.

The role requires reading blueprints, selecting dies and tooling, and performing first-piece inspections to ensure parts meet specifications. You will work Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with potential overtime and a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on press brake experience in industrial manufacturing.
• CNC experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings and work instructions.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual press brake equipment to bend and fabricate sheet metal and steel.
• Interpret blueprints and work orders to determine bend sequences and settings.
• Install dies, punches, tooling, and fixtures as required.
• Perform machine setup and first-piece inspections before production runs.
• Measure parts with calipers and calipers to ensure tolerances.
• Verify components meet dimensional tolerances and quality standards.
• Adjust machine parameters and tooling for accuracy.
• Safely handle heavy components using forklifts and cranes.
• Maintain production, quality, and maintenance records.
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards.
