Staffmark Group in Jonesboro, AR is hiring a Brake Press Operator to set up and operate brake press equipment, bend and form metal parts per blueprints. You will select tooling, monitor performance, and inspect parts to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of Brake Press/Press Brake/Machine Operator experience or related.
• Experience reading blueprints, shop drawings, and production specifications.
• Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to verify product quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate brake press equipment to bend and form metal parts per blueprints and specifications.
• Select and install tooling, punches, and dies for production runs.
• Position materials accurately and monitor machine performance throughout production.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Adjust machine settings to maintain production standards.
• Complete quality and production documentation and follow all safety procedures.
