Job summary

Edgewell is hiring a Production Operator for the Pre-Grind area on the Day Shift (7:30am–7:30pm) in Knoxville, TN. The role sets up, adjusts and operates pre-grind blade making machinery to produce quality parts.

You will perform preventive maintenance, run quality checks, and assist as needed. Candidates should have at least six months of manufacturing experience, be mechanically inclined, and able to read instruments and use basic tools.

Qualifications

• Must have at least six months of manufacturing experience.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Must be able to read and interpret instruments and gauges.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.
• Experience with various hand tools and gauges is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate pre-grind machinery to obtain product of acceptable quality.
• Perform preventive maintenance as required.
• Perform and record quality checks.
• Relieve other operators as required.
• Perform other duties as needed.
