Job summary

Fortis Solutions Group is seeking a Pouch Operator to operate a pouching machine, convert large press rolls into customer pouches, and ensure quality and correct packaging. You will verify IDs, follow job tickets, and maintain an orderly workstation in a fast-paced production setting.

Responsibilities include quality checks, coordination with supervisors, and helping with finishing duties. The role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of machine operation experience, with safety

• Must be proactive to catch problems or inconsistencies and bring them to management’s attention.

Responsibilities

• Review job work instructions and set up the pouch machine for the job.
• Operate the machine to convert rolls into finished pouches.
• Review pouches for quality and consistency.
• Verify product IDs and perform visual inspection with supervisor sign-off.
• Place finished pouches in boxes and ensure correct box IDs.
• Communicate issues with pouch quality, runs, or IDs to shift supervisor or manager.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow Fortis policies.
• Assist with other duties as required.
