• Troubleshoot and repair machine malfunctions to minimize downtime and meet production targets.
• Maintain accurate records of production runs, including batch numbers and quantities.
• Follow all safety procedures to keep the workplace clean and organized.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Bag / Pouch Machine Operator to join our team in manufacturing flexible packaging. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the bag making machine to ensure the production of high-quality flexible packaging products in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong mechanical aptitude, be able to read and interpret technical drawings, and have experience with machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate the pouch machine according to job specifications, ensuring that the machine is calibrated and producing pouches to the required standards.
• Monitor the machine during operation to ensure that it is running efficiently and effectively, making adjustments as necessary to ensure that the product meets the required quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on the machine, including cleaning, lubrication, and replacing worn parts as necessary.
• Troubleshoot and repair machine malfunctions and issues as they arise, ensuring that downtime is minimized and production targets are met.
• Maintain accurate records of production runs, including batch numbers, quantities produced, and any quality issues that arise.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, ensuring that the workplace is kept clean and organized at all times.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as required.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $12.00 – $18.00 per hour Schedule:

• 8 to 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
