Job summary

Open LMS is seeking a Quality Control professional to inspect welds and fabricated pipe components in our Texas facility. You will verify dimensions, weld placements, and thread fittings against production sheets to ensure conformity and customer satisfaction.

No prior QC experience is required beyond a readiness to learn and adhere to procedures. Daily tasks include completing QC sheets, organizing tested products for processing, and adhering to established measurement and certification

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect each weld for quality and inspect pipes to ensure outlets are located in the proper place.
• Ensure overall dimensions and weld placements are correct per production sheets.
• Examine threads and fittings on each pipe as per the Quality Control Sheet.
• Compare all products to the production sheet.
• Discard or reject products or materials not meeting specifications.
• Inspect, test, or measure materials or products for conformance using measuring instruments.
