Job summary

Polaris Pharmacy Services of San Diego LLC is seeking an Order Entry Technician to accurately enter prescriptions and refills into our pharmacy system. You will respond to customer inquiries, support continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with safety policies and HIPAA.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of pharmacy technician experience, state-credentialed licensure, and proficiency with data entry, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy technician licenses/certifications required by state regulations.
• Minimum of one year as a pharmacy technician; long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the pharmacy system.
• Address and respond to customer inquiries and requests.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of client services and policies.
• Comply with safety, attendance, and dress code policies.
• Follow HIPAA and other government regulations.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures; perform other duties as assigned.
