Job summary

Polaris Pharmacy Services in Tampa, Florida is seeking an Order Entry Technician to enter prescriptions and refills with speed and accuracy, responding to customer needs and ensuring HIPAA compliance. The ideal candidate has at least one year of pharmacy technician experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and an active state license.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, plus strong data entry and math skills, is required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy technician license/certification required by state regulations.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician (long-term care preferred).

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the pharmacy system.
• Address customer inquiries and requests promptly.
• Support continuous improvement of client services and policies.
• Follow safety policies and government regulations, including HIPAA.
• Other duties as assigned.
