Job summary

Polaris Pharmacy Services is seeking an Order Entry Technician to accurately enter prescriptions and refills into our pharmacy system while delivering courteous customer service.

The role requires pharmacy technician experience and proficiency with data entry, SIG codes, and Microsoft Office. Candidates must maintain attention to detail and adhere to safety and HIPAA policies in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy technician licenses/certifications required by state regulations and state of practice.
• Minimum of one year working as a pharmacy technician (long-term care pharmacy preferred).
• Experience with prescription data entry and reading SIG codes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the pharmacy system.
• Address and respond to customer inquiries and requests.
• Contribute to evaluation and continuous improvement of client services and procedures.
• Follow safety policies and HIPAA regulations in daily work.
• Other duties as assigned based on business needs.
