Rocket EMS is seeking a Touch-Up / Rework Technician in Santa Clara, California. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and reworking printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and mechanical assemblies to meet quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have strong soldering skills, ability to interpret engineering documentation, and experience in precision repairs. Responsibilities include component-level rework, ESD compliance, and supporting debug teams.
Salary offered is $22 – $24 USD per hour, with opportunities for IPC certification and career growth.
The Touch‑Up / Rework Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and reworking printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and mechanical assemblies that do not meet quality standards. This position requires strong soldering skills, the ability to interpret engineering documentation, and experience performing precision repairs on electronic assemblies using hand tools and specialized equipment.
The technician will work closely with Manufacturing, Test, Quality, and Engineering teams to ensure products meet workmanship standards, IPC requirements, and customer specifications.
This position operates in a manufacturing environment handling electronic assemblies and requires adherence to ESD and safety protocols.
Pay Range
$22 – $24 USD
