Job summary

Genesis Engineering Solutions, Inc. in Lanham, Maryland, is seeking an experienced PCB/electronics assembler to join our on-site manufacturing team.

You will read schematics and BOMs, solder SMT and through-hole components, wire and test boards, and support prototypes and box builds with a focus on IPC standards and ESD safety. Candidates should have 3–5+ years of relevant experience, strong manual dexterity, and the ability to work both independently and within a fast-paced, team-oriented

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5+ years PCB/electronics assembly experience.
• Ability to read schematics and BOMs.
• Experience with IPC standards and ESD safety.
• Proficiency with hand tools and soldering (IPC-A610 knowledge a plus).
• Comfort with Windows and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, solder SMT and through-hole components, and wire PCBs.
• Read technical drawings and BOMs to ensure correct placement.
• Test assemblies, perform rework/repairs, and document results.
• Support prototypes, box builds, and final product integration.
