Job summary

Electronic Systems Inc. (ESI) is hiring for an on-site assembler to build low-volume and prototype electronics from prints, inserting components by hand and ensuring accurate placement for final products.

You will work with peers to share assembly methods, participate in testing and packing, and contribute to continuous improvement, with occasional overtime. 3+ years in manufacturing/assembly preferred.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and understand verbal or written English instructions.
• Self-starter who collaborates effectively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Work directly from prints or assembly instructions to assemble low-volume and prototype projects.
• Insert electronic components by hand into printed circuit boards.
• Responsible for the accuracy of component placement and assembly of final product.
• Work with other assemblers to teach assembly and soldering techniques that will ensure quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with teammates to share assembly and soldering techniques that support quality and efficiency.
• Communicate job status to team leaders
• Perform testing, packing, and related tasks requiring attention to detail and teamwork.
• Participate in continuous improvement and occasional overtime as needed
