Job summary

Thomas Electronics, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented PCB Assembler to join our Manufacturing team. This role assembles PCBs, electronic assemblies, and related components per engineering drawings, BOMs, and IPC standards.

The ideal candidate has strong soldering skills and thrives in a fast-paced environment demanding precision and quality. The role requires reading drawings and work instructions, performing hand soldering, inspecting at all stages, and maintaining documentation while

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in electronics assembly and IPC workmanship standards.
Ability to read engineering drawings and work orders.
Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Soldering experience with through-hole and SMT.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Assemble PCBs, electronic assemblies, and subassemblies per drawings and BOMs.
Perform hand soldering of through-hole and SMT components per IPC standards.
Inspect assemblies to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
Verify placement, orientation, and integration of components.
Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to meet schedules.
Identify defects and report nonconforming materials.
