Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role in corporate accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and financial software applications.
• Strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping principles.
• Familiarity with payroll processing systems like ADP, Paycom, or Workday is highly desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with employees at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time using payroll software.
• Maintain employee records related to payroll, benefits administration, and tax information.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Conduct double entry bookkeeping to track payroll expenses and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Collaborate with HR to manage employee benefits and deductions effectively.
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports for management review.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or discrepancies.
• Assist in the implementation of new financial software or upgrades to existing systems.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information related to employee compensation.
