Job summary

Lee’s Summit Honda is seeking a Shipping & Receiving associate for the Parts Department. The role involves receiving shipments, verifying parts against packing slips, invoices, and POs; inspecting for shortages or damage; and stocking parts in the dealership system.

You will prepare outgoing shipments, process returns, support special orders, and maintain organized bin locations. The position requires dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently after training.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and accurately compare part numbers and invoices.
• Basic computer skills for dealership systems.
• Strong organizational skills for stocking and inventory tasks.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily Honda, aftermarket, wholesale, and other parts shipments.
• Verify incoming parts against packing slips, invoices, and purchase orders.
• Inspect shipments for shortages, overages, damage; report discrepancies.
• Receive parts into dealership system and label/sort special orders.
• Stock inventory and maintain accurate bin locations; assist cycle counts.
• Prepare outgoing parts and packages; verify part numbers and customer info.
• Process UPS, FedEx, and other outbound shipments; document tracking.
• Process Honda and vendor returns; handle warranty/ core returns.
• Organize special orders and wholesale deliveries; assist with order tracking.
• Maintain clean, organized shipping/receiving area and bin system.
