Job summary

Honda World is seeking an Inventory Control Manager / Shipping & Receiving Clerk in Louisville to support a booming parts business. The role requires attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to manage shipping/receiving processes in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Two shifts available (M-F or Tue-Sat) with competitive hourly pay. Excellent benefits and a team‑oriented workplace are offered at Honda World.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to use parts department computer system.
• Good communication skills.
• Forklift operation is a plus.
• Clear criminal background and pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with ability to work with little supervision.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Must be comfortable sitting, standing, or walking for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive and ship shipments, verify information against invoices and records.
• Keep bins, aisles, and storage areas clean and labeled.
• Maintain receiving/shipping records and returned parts records.
• Unpack and inspect incoming shipments, reject damaged items, and record shortages.
• Ensure outgoing shipments meet specifications.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.

• TWO SHIFTS AVAILABLE (M-F) OR (TUES-SAT)

Responsibilities

• Receive & sendshipments, verify information against invoices, orders and other records
• Keep all bins, aisles and storage areas clean and clearly labeled
• Maintain receiving and shipping records, as well as returned parts records
• Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
• Ensure that outgoing shipments meet specifications
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to use parts department computer system
• Good communication skills
• Ability to operate a fork lift truck is a plus
• Must be have a clean criminal background and pass pre-employment drug screen
• Capability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
• Have strong organizational skills and be extremely detail oriented
• Be self-motivated and able to accomplish tasks with little supervision
• Basic computer knowledge
• Must be comfortable sitting, standing and/or walking for long periods of time
