Job summary

Honda World is seeking an inventory control manager/shipping & receiving clerk to support our parts department in a fast-paced, professional setting. The role involves handling shipments, organizing storage areas, and maintaining records to ensure accurate inventory and timely order fulfillment.

Two shifts available (Mon-Fri or Tue-Sat); full-time; benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k), paid vacation, and uniforms provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to use parts department computer system.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to operate a forklift is a plus.
• Clean background and pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Capable to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Comfortable sitting, standing and/or walking for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive & send shipments, verify information against invoices and records.
• Keep bins, aisles and storage areas clean and labeled.
• Maintain receiving/shipping records and returned parts records.
• Unpack shipments, reject damaged items and coordinate with shipper on damages.
• Ensure outgoing shipments meet specifications.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.

• TWO SHIFTS AVAILABLE (M-F) OR (TUES-SAT)

Responsibilities

• Receive & sendshipments, verify information against invoices, orders and other records
• Keep all bins, aisles and storage areas clean and clearly labeled
• Maintain receiving and shipping records, as well as returned parts records
• Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
• Ensure that outgoing shipments meet specifications
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to use parts department computer system
• Good communication skills
• Ability to operate a fork lift truck is a plus
• Must be have a clean criminal background and pass pre-employment drug screen
• Capability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
• Have strong organizational skills and be extremely detail oriented
• Be self-motivated and able to accomplish tasks with little supervision
• Basic computer knowledge
• Must be comfortable sitting, standing and/or walking for long periods of time
