Job summary

Welker in Sugar Land, TX is seeking a self-motivated Production Painter/Fiberglass Laminator to join our Assembly team. You will apply epoxy, sandblast as needed, and build fiberglass cases with careful attention to quality and safety.

Ideal candidates are comfortable with ERP workflows, can lift up to 50 lbs, stand most of the day, and have a High School diploma. We offer competitive benefits and daytime hours, with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand up to 90% of the day in a non-climate controlled area.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs safely.
• High School diploma or equivalent; technical courses preferred.
• Experience with painting, fiberglass, or sandblasting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use Welker's ERP system to understand and execute work order instructions.
• Operate a spray gun; apply epoxy and sandblast as needed.
• Construct fiberglass cases.
• Operate forklift to move heavy parts; certification will be provided.
